Housing Plus Group Conference

With Graham Norris

Gareth,

Thanks for taking the time to talk with me about the conference you are planning for your colleagues. Sounds like it's going to be a great opportunity for colleagues from both Wrekin and Housing Plus to start integrating their efforts on supporting your customers.

Below you'll find descriptions for the session I think will work best as an inspiring and motivating experience for your event, helping the audience accept the challenges of change and view the future as a united team with a renewed sense of optimism.

You'll also find an overview of the kind of experiences I've been creating for my clients, and a quote.

If you would like to get on a call to discuss any further details, I'd be happy to set that up.

Thanks again!

Graham

Keynote Description

Working Towards a Shared Sense of Purpose

The Vision Pyramid

A merger can create great opportunities, but also generates risks.

Two tribes coming together amid disruption and uncertainty can result in a clash of cultures that distracts even the most benevolent organisation from its mission.

While strong direction is important, traditional top-down strategy cascades can create disconnects between leadership vision and frontline execution.

But what if you could transform competing interests into collaborative momentum?

The Vision Pyramid framework bridges the gap between high-level strategy and day-to-day operations. This practical approach aligns motivation at every organisational level, creating natural incentives for cross-functional collaboration.

In this energising session, you'll discover:

  • How to create goals that simultaneously serve individual, team, and organisational success

  • A proven method for translating abstract strategy into actionable priorities

  • Specific techniques to foster genuine buy-in at every level

Through real-world case studies and interactive exercises, you'll learn to build a strategic framework that naturally dismantles silos and unleashes your organisation's collaborative potential.

Ready to transform your strategy into shared success?

The Experience

Working with Graham couldn't be easier

PROMOTION & PREPARATION

I'm committed to shifting mindsets, which means I'm more than happy to do whatever I can to help get your employees excited and prepared for the event. Whether it's a video or a podcast interview, I want to help get them thinking before they arrive.

For most events I provide any or all of the following:

  • Event promotional video

  • Interview for blog posts or podcasts

A great keynote requires thoughtful preparation. That means truly understanding your audience and customising the presentation to ensure the message hits home.

Before any event Graham does the following:

  • Researches your organisation and sector

  • Interviews audience members

  • Customises the presentation

DURING THE EVENT

Unlike many speakers, I prefer to stay the full day (when possible.) Why? Because I know that when attendees have the chance to interact with your keynote speakers they're able to get their questions answered and take more away from the event.

So make the most of my time while I'm there:

  • Do a breakout session

  • Participate on a panel

  • Have a VIP lunch table

  • Conduct office hours

I'm open to almost anything. What can I do to help you make this event memorable? Let's brainstorm.

AFTER THE EVENT

For an event organiser, I know how exhausting running an event can be. That's why I want to ensure you're armed with the necessary assets to make all your event follow-up easy, fun, and memorable.

Within one day of the event's end, I'll provide any of the following:

  • A link to the presentation deck (if there is one) to share with every attendee.

  • A short reminder video to keep people focused and inspired when they get back to the office.

  • A podcast interview or blog post interview about the event.

  • A follow-up telepresence session a few months after the event.
